Qualifications and Experience

I am a fully qualified and UKCP registered psychotherapist (see UK Council for Psychotherapy link) with well over 15 years of experience. My qualifications include degrees in Psychology, Dramatherapy and a postgraduate M.A. in Psychotherapy. I am currently doing research on mindful and embodied awareness of therapeutic change in therapists and clients. I am also a professional member of the Association of Core Process Psychotherapists (see ACPP link)

Currently I have a busy private practice in London. I am a qualified clinical supervisor for individuals and groups. I offer Mindfulness-Based Supervision. I worked on the NHS as a psychotherapist from 2011 to 2017. I was also a Trainer in the M.A. Core Process Psychotherapeutic Practice programme at the Karuna Institute in Devon for many years.

I'm also researching into how mindfulness practices affect therapists and clients in dyadic therapy through a Doctorate in Clinical Practice with the University of Exeter.

As well as several years of experience of working with youth groups and people living with HIV, I have also developed a way of regulating bodily awareness in working with effects of shock and trauma.

The Karuna Institute offers professional trainings in Core Process Psychotherapy and is a member of UKCP. The professional training is also a M.A. validated course in association with Middlesex University. For more information on Karuna, click here link.
